Mary Jane's Crochet: Recipes - Pink Dessert

Cabbage Roll Casserole 1 lb. lean ground beef
1 vidalia onion
4 - 5 cups chopped cabbage
1 can tomato soup (undiluted)
1/4 cup water
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can saurkraut, drained
1 cup cooked rice
2 - 3 garlic cloves, chopped
optional brown sugar

Brown ground beef, onion and garlic in skillet. While that is cooking chop the cabbage. Drain the ground beef and place in the bottom of a casserole dish. Spread cabbage on top of beef. Place saurkraut over cabbage. Mix the tomato soup, water, rice, and diced tomaotes (undrained) in a bowl, and pour over saurkraut. Sprinkle a little brown sugar over the top if desired. You can place a cover on the casserole dish. Bake in 35 degree oven for 45 minutes. This is easy and very good!
